THE HISTORY - Jonathan Mason, a retired U.S. Senator from Massachusetts, purchased Boggy Meadow Farm in 1822. The farm is located in the rich, fertile farmland of the Connecticut River Valley in Walpole, NH and has been owned and operated by his descendants to this day.

We farm about 400 acres which feeds a milking herd of over 200 cows. All the farmland is protected and in a conservation easement with our partners at the Monadnock Conservancy and the New Hampshire Society of Forests. The fields are surrounded by woods on one side and the river on the other. And if you come at dawn in the Fall, the river mist lies low over the corn stalks, and wild turkeys are stealing the grain from the calves, and you cannot imagine wanting to be anywhere else.
